Default SB defense again!! 66

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, Button calls.

Flop: (7 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: (4.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 6.50 BB

Not pretty I admit but I think I got at least 1 street right. Maybe more. Feel free to critique as 3-betting small pairs from the sb is pretty foreign to me. I don't have a good feel for the sort of things I should be considering.

I will say I think the turn check is pretty bad with the 3-flush out there.

I like these posts. I have been working on my blind play and have been thrashing around quite a bit. Keep em coming!

When I three bet in this situation I am not taking my foot off the gas until I am raised or the board starts to look ominous. If the board looks ok I would bet the turn here. But the board is starting to look coordinated. Too many overcards and draws. I don't think you are getting many hands to fold. So I am done putting money into this pot after the flop bet.

I bet the turn. I feel like a K or T is letting me know they have a pair on the flop. I also like the scare aspect of the turn completing the flush so I bet hoping he's done chasing.

I bet turn and check call river barring any really scary card falling on the river.

I like this plan. Give that I didn't bet the turn, how is my river play?
