Hand for analysys Supsat for Aruba WPT Last night
UB super sat to Aruba WPT event ( 1 seat granted)
How should each street be bet to extract the most? Blinds 50-100 Hero in BB w/ 5 10 D. w/ T2000 All fold to Button w/ T3400 who limps for 100. SB w/ T3900 completes. I check Flop is 3 8 K all diamonds. SB checks, I lead out 200, Button raises to 400, SB calls, I raise to 1000, both call. Comments: Turn action to follow. |

I don't know if I would have played the flop that fast, but damn it looks like it worked. You now have 1000 in your stack and there's 3000 in the pot. I would just stick the last 1000 in on the turn and figure you'll get called in at least one spot. Incidently with two callers they are probably drawing fairly live against you (either to a full house, a bigger flush or both) so checking a blank on the turn is a mistake.

Wow didnt expect that did ya lol.......
How was the table playing very loose , middle of the road, uber tight ? I think you have to push the turn, if they are drawing with a 4 card flush they are going to fold to a non [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] river. If they think there hand is good on the flop there is no reason that a non [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] turn should change thier mind about it. Plus they are getting very good odds to call you turn push anyhow. As the action went you might already be beat or even crushing a smaller flush, oh well your are fully PC at this point. |

I like the flop play here. Any large diamond is getting charged to draw.
With that, you gotta push the turn.. you're low on chips and there's really not much other choice. |

[/ QUOTE ] Turn is a Black 2. SB checks, I push (as MLG and Potowame suggest), Button Pushes, and SB call. As it turns out this was my bust out hand, Button shows 67 D, for a smaller flush, and SB shows the A4 D for the nut flush. Looks like SB outfoxed the lambs. |

Tough beat ok, but not bad beat.
All is good here, because everyone did the right thing. The match-ups of the hands many times dictate the outcome of the hand and sometimes the tournament. All you can do is make the correct plays as often as possible, and laws of averages should take care of them selves. |

yes its like set over set and KK VS. AA, its a tough beat. Nothing you can do but lose your chips because you are making the right call 95% of the time.

Re: Hand for analysys Supsat for Aruba WPT Last night
After the button minraises and the SB calls it cold the very least you're up against is the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] so I push the flop. A smaller flush still calls, so does a set and so does 2 pair (maybe) but the lone ace may just fold and it's something you badly need right now.
Otherwise, push the turn and hope it's only Kx without a diamond kicker. |
