Default AA to weak?

First time ever playing 1/2 js tmoved up and getting hammered. Guy i am HU with is a prettty solid player SLA-P. I think part of the reason i played it this way is because i had been losing trips alot to over trips ect all session and down 25BB.

the 1st hand, i call it down. i'm not ready to give credit to a set of 6's or something like that.

call me weak tight if you will, but in the 2nd hand, when he caps pre-flop, calls the flop raise & check-raises the turn, that screams queens full to me. i don't think you're good here vs. this type of opponent, with this type of action even 1 out of 9.75 times...

I agree with that assessment of queens full. Still, I don't feel I can lay it down.

Hand 1 - Call it down after turn checkraise from passive postflop player. Don't like the river raise, but I don't think hero likes it either.

Hand 2 - Dunno how many hands hero has on the villain, but if you make a sLA-P read, go with it and drop KK to the turn checkraise in Hand 2. Most players don't cap PF without a big pair, and passive players don't checkraise without the goods, especially after your PF aggression. Keep in mind your table image, which should be good after you have called down a premium losing hand before (in hand 1). He would be less likely to try to push you off of a hand. If you don't have many hands and suspect he might be tricksy, then maybe call down. Maybe.

IMHO this is the difference between .50/$1 and $1/2 - players are aggressive with good hands, and you rarely get shown down A high or middle pair trash that you see at .50/$1. Be aggressive, but be selectively aggressive and learn to fold in the right places. Or play 6-max!

I cap the flop. Why do you just call the turn and then raise the river? Second hand looks like queens.

first hand i was gunshy after the 3 bet so if he didnt' bet out turn i'd bet guessing flush draw but he bet out and i've been tripped on so many times on that table i got pissed and just called.

2nd hand close but not quite...

Hey Bizot- Same screen name on party? We played a couple of hands together recently then.
as for hand one. Cap the flop and lead out on the river. If he raises I'm a tad more wary and probally just call down.
Hand 2 I like.

I don't see another line for the second hand personally but it looks like you're in bad shape.
