GM,

Just curious, because I have to say this looks really fishy. Do you have anything to gain monetarily by having people sign up through these links? What does 'all proceeds go to pay for tournament' mean? Dont you get some sort of cut/month for all the people that sign up?

Explain.

You guys are trying to take all the fun out of this.

It's a fair question, but to call GM's motives fishy is a bit much, IMO.

Unlike Party, Paradise only gives a flat fee for every sign up (feel free to berate me if I'm wrong). There are no monthly payments.

happy to explain jason.

the link for the sign-up for this tourney will generate a couple of accounts if we are lucky which is a couple of hundred dollars. i am personally putting up $30 for each 'star' and paying $50 for each bounty plus the bounty bonuses. i do not make 10cents off of ongoing play on any account. i have a deal where i get a one time referral fee. i have been kicking in proceeds from the classifieds to this tourney since i started it. other than the first event which paradise paid for, the rest of the events have cost me money and this one will cost a lot.

if there were income on continuing play, there would be reason to not put the link there. paradise just started paying affiliates who choose to go with the program on play. i did not join this program and never will.

i'm sorry it looks fishy to you. i think you must be jaded. i give a lot to this community and have so for a long time. it is a shame that people think it looks fishy, but i am in no need of scamming anyone here. i have a very comfortable life and to create an elaborate scheme like this to make a profit is not only something i would never do, but there is no profit in it. only a loss.

You could run this at stars as part of kotz, although I doubt you are an affiliate there.

As I already asked, what happened to the one toejam/spam/month rule?

as i stated, the last thread was to find the people i owed an entry to. it did not lay the tourney out at all. not only that, but there has been no toejam since december and nothing for several months before

feel free to notify moderator.

No, and we both know why.
