Less hands per hour and you should be playing almost as tight as you would at HE tables (VP$IP 10-20%).
Personally I 8 table $2/$4 with no problem whatsoever. If I had 3 monitors I'd easily 12 table. |

I use omaha 8 as filler when i'm playing in another game that requires a lot of concentration. for example, if i'm playing a 3/6 stud game, i'll open three tables of .50/1 and 1/2 omaha 8- which i play on autopilot as i watch the stud game very carefully. I try to always play 4 tables, considering that i'm usually trying to clear bonuses, and omaha 8, though it doesn't clear those very fast due to the low h/hr, is a great way to fill up on tables when i'm playing stud or a 1/2 NL game.
i rarely ever multitable just omaha8. i only have one monitor and i hate overlapping tables and even four tables of limit O8 bores me to tears. |

I usually 4-table $0.5/$1.0 O8 to clear bonuses.

man, this is the greatest bonus clearing game, I was playing on party and virtually every hand was raked.

man, this is the greatest bonus clearing game, I was playing on party and virtually every hand was raked. [/ QUOTE ] Ditto, few low limit O8 pots are not raked. Bonus clearing aside, I think that playing 2-3 O8 tables has a greater EV than playing one. You have enough time here to still get a read on your opponents, but the games move fast enough that you don't get bored, and start inventing reasons to limp in just this once with a marginal hand, like you do playing one-table O8. |
