I prefer betting or check-raising the flop, but ok. But on the turn, you gotta push. The pot is already large and this is no time to give the Button the opportunity to see a free river.

Your point well taken, but my plan here was to appear weak and induce a bluff.. It worked, he just sucked out. Now in retrospect I push the turn, he folds, but I didnt know he was THAT weak... I felt the best way to get him to put more chips in the pot was to let him bet it. Maybe a mistake, that is why I posted it.

I understand what you were trying to do. However, when the pot is already huge AND a scare card like the Tc falls, you need to be thinking about taking the pot down immediately - not trying to extract more chips.

Default Bad beat jackpot

I am not exactly sure, but isn't that a GOOD beat? I thought in order to win the Bad Beat Jackpot, you had to lose with at least 4 of a kind, and both of you have to use two cards in your hand. Furthermore, I believe the minimum is 4 of a kind 8s.

Does anybody know? I would check with PP.

Edit: I guess this only applies to limit games.

Bad beats will be paid out on real money Hold'em games (Limits $2/$4, $3/$6, $5/$10, $10/$20 and $15/$30); available under the Bad Beat Jackpot Tab only.

You have to be playing a bad beat table with nice extra rake.

You can only win the jackpot while playing on the bad-beat jackpot (ring game) tables.
