Default T9s in multiway pot

MP3 is 13% VP$IP/6.5% PFR and an aggressive winner player. You can assume the guys behind me are random, mediocre players.

Just in case you don't notice it, MP3 calls the flop bet here and then 3 bets the field when it gets back to him.

Flop/Turn plan?

Cap and call down....bet if checked to....With all the other players putting bets in, even if you are behind to a straight right now, you have enough outs to make a cap correct.

Looks like MP3 might be raising a flush draw for value. Go ahead and cap it. Raise the turn if a safe looking card comes off and somebody bets into you.

cap it up to push out other gutshots. as a side note, i prefer raising it preflop here to buy the button.

i think we all agree here its very likely he has a big big draw here...or a straight/2pair, set...but thats not it...

when enon first showed me this hand i felt one way...now looking at it again i think its very important to cap here...if i had red QQ here i WOULD NOT CAP! i'd call and raise the turn to a safe card because of those people behind me can draw against my 1 pair correctly for 2 more small bets but not really for 2 big bets...

but here...those hands are a closer call and its important to get out hands that are correct to call because they think they're dead in teh water...so raise and get those guys behind you OUT! imo...

he could have QJh as everone thinks, or a set. or Axh - but that is unlikely. to a set you are 11 to 1 to hit full, to QJh you are a slight fav because of the full house possibility. capping is fine, calling now and then and calling down is ok too. yes you lose a gut shot, IF there is one, and IF he plays correctly, but you could also badly behind here too. i probably raise. if a heart hits the turn, vs several opponents, you should fold unless your getting the correct odds to draw to the full house. i suspect he had a set, and is taking the opportunity to play it fast. interesting to hear the results.

Raise preflop.

Cap this flop and call down if bet into especially if a scary comes off like the third heart.

Yeah, I read this as you have the best hand, he has the best draw. You two should work together to extract as much from the field as possible.... provided those danger cards don't hit.

What I thought might be interesting was whether I should raise the turn if a blank came off and MP3 bets into me again if I decided to cap the flop. I don't know whether I would raise this turn if the 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] came off.

Huge pot on the end but I can't justify a call against this opponent and this board.
