looks good. I assume you bet the turn if it's not a diamond and check the river?

I don't get your flop raise as opposed to just calling down.

I get the turn and river given the diamond.

I'm really really bad at poker right now and haven't played for like 2 months and probably won't be able to reply to this thread until tomorrow.

So you're folding this to a blank river?

no way. I'm pretty sure he only checked the turn because he hit a flush draw. otherwise, I suspect he would've bet the turn and checked the river. the whole poitn of the flop raise is that he's not thrilled about his hand, but he'd like to see a showdown since this guy could easily have a smaller pair or nothing

Ok, cause I felt folding the river to a blank would be way to weak. I thought bet/fold the turn would be better and then take a free showdown if called. But I now realize that's not good at all since you can't fold if you bet the turn.

If your hand was T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], then bet/fold the turn would be good, right?
