Could be your video card, or your computer itself, not sure what/how to check though.

Got mine today and had no problems changing the resolution... you might need to update your video card's drivers if you haven't done so before

yes, it only lists the same choices I had with my other monitor.

you might need a better video card with higher resolution, shouldn't be too expensive.

I have a hard time believing that his video card can't go up to 1600x1200 unless it's an onboard card. Even my old Geforce 2 could go that high.
Could you go right-click on My Computers -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Display Adapters and tell us what's listed under there? |

Not to stray from the OPs problem but will a NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5100 be able to run a 1600X1200 monitor? Thanks.
