Default Lexington, KY

I'm headed to Lexington in a few weeks on a business trip. I thought I read somewhere that there were some riverboats/casinos in the area, but I can't find any listings in the PokerPages cardroom directory. Any help here??

Lexington is in the center of a state that has no gambling. However, Louisville is near Caesar's Indiana. Also, near Cincinnati, Rising Sun Casino has one as well. Both casinos are in Indiana. I would talk to steamboatin, as he is a regular at both casinos.

either one is a bit of a drive from lexington. I have to map it to see which is closer but Grand Victoria in Rising Sun is fishier.

Lexinton, KY to Rising Sun, In 106 miles

Lexington, KY to Caesar's IN 88 miles

According to Microsoft Map Point Caesar's In is ten minutes faster.

Risning Sun is going to have $5-10 and 10-20 maybe a stud game but probably not.

Caesar's In will have 3-6, 5-10, 10-20, maybe 20-40 usually a 2-10 stud game and often a 30-60 stud game. There is almost always a No Limit game in the evenings, $2&5 blinds and $200 minimum buyin. Wednesday is Pot Limit Omaha and the pots get really big. Numerous times the pot has reached $10,000. I usually play 3-6.

Thanks for the low down. It may be that I have to swing through Cincinnati in any case, so I'll check them out...

Ok, So they moved my meeting from Lexington, to Louisville. From the other postings on the board it looks like Cesears IN is actually across the river from Louisville, is that correct?

Are the games worth it on a Monday night? (the only night I'll be in town).

Thanks again for the help

Yes, cross the Ohio river on I-64 West and take the New Albany Exit, turn right at the stop light, turn right on Main St at Ninny's diner and follow the river.
