Reccomendations on good chips and KEM cards
I've been looking on ebay for a few days and I'm trying to decide which type of chips and cards to buy but it's hard to tell by looking at from the pc. I'm not looking to spend around a $100 on chips and whatever on the cards. Anybody have some suggestions?

Two decks of the few remaining KEM stocks will run you about ~$20 w/ shipping from sellers on eBay. If you buy Copags instead, they will run you ~$16 for two decks. Both of those brands make quality plastic cards. As for the chips, I think you might be better off signing up for some bonus deal or something like that where they give you a free set of 500 chips for playing some hands online. *Free* is a good price for the type of chips you are looking for. |

LOL! I meant to say I WAS looking to spend around a $100 or maybe a little more for some good chips. Sorry about that.

Well, I still recommend trying to find an online site that has a special deal for some decent chips with a case. You could buy these same chips for about $70-$100, but getting them as part of a bonus is pretty nice. I have over 2000 chips which I have received through this manner. |

Thanks AC. Any suggestions on a site that offer chips that have the amount labeled on them? I've noticed quite a few that don't. I get tired of having to tell everyone how much each color is worth over and over.

In brief, if you sign up for a poker site through them ($100 deposit) and play the required number of raked hands, you can get all sorts of free goodies, including chip sets and KEM cards. Many people on this board have patronized that site and have had positive experiences. I believe PSO advertises here on 2+2. I will end this reply now so I don't get too long-winded, but you can search the boards for more info, most likely. Feel free to PM if you have questions. |

copags are great.
kems are cool, but a bit overpriced. the only thing i dont like about the copags is their coloring is a bit on the light side (no deep kem coloring). but i'm fairly confident that they will last longer then kems, cost less, and have nice designs too. stealthcow- |

Re: Reccomendations on good chips and KEM cards
So here is how I'd rate them:
Looks: 1A) Gemaco. 1B) Kems. 3) Copags. Feel: 1) Gemaco. 2) Copags. 3) Kems. Value: 1) Copags (by far). 2) Gemaco 3) Kems. Overall: 1) Copags (price makes them the leader) 2) Gemaco 3) Kems. This survey was done by GlassJoe (from another forum) and passed it on to us, and now passed on to you. My prediction.(Patriots-27-7) |
