Default Jackpot Jay get canned?

His usual Tuesday article is already 4 days late.

I thought his articles were becoming less and less entertaining and more and more like posts that would get bad beat police attention around here.......but it was still bathroom at work worthy.

My guess - and it's just a guess, is no column cause it's superbowl week.

He tends to submit columns more frequently at slow times, or when poker is Hot for ESPN - like the start of the ME broadcast, start of tilt, etc - and less frequently when there are big stories. I think he took a back seat during the world series as well.

For whatever it is worth, he is still listed on the columnists page.

Unfortunately, it is true. Last Saturday, I believe, Jay died suddenly from a brain aneurism. Strangely enough, he was found at his home Sunday morning in front of his computer. One could imagine that Jay could have possibly been playing online poker when he passed.
RIP Jay, you were good for the game.

Isn't this crossing the line? I understand that this is an online forum and all, but I find this a bit too much.
