He's giving a good speech, and is addressing the Social Security crisis quite well. He quoted the proposals of past Democrats (Bill Clinton, Moynihan, etc.) as possible options.

For a while there it sounded like there was a protester section. He spoke through it well, though.

Longest applause yet. Hopefully it shows some spine in the Senate GOP.

Bush is giving one of his best speeches ever. Strong, no verbal glitches, in total control.
