Default Dealer stabbed at Lucky Chances

I heard a rumor last night that a dealer got attacked the other night during a 20-40 game at LC's. Evidently, some woman was playing and lost all of her money. Her boyfriend was sweating her, and after she went broke, he cracked open a copule of beer bottles and attacked the dealer, slashing him/her in the neck. Apparently, the dealer is OK, and the attacker is in jail. Was anyone there or have they heard more about it? I'm pretty certain that this actually happened. If so, take that, Commerce!!!

anybody would crack after eating the food there. certainly a legit defense for the crime.

its sad that this stuff happens but gambling causes much distress to people that piss away all their money.

Some decent fellow should have beat the attacker to death. It would make a better no tolerance policy than Commerce's.

The rumor I heard was that the dealer was screwing the attacker's wife.

i played in a tourney there on sunday and i heard a player make a comment about someone hitting a dealer with a bottle from behind. this comment was made by a player to a dealer who said, "my, god, that was scary" and they went on to talk about how it's odd that being a dealer can be dangerous.

i had no idea what they were talking about until reading sucker's post, but it makes sense now.

so, yes, it happened, but i dont know any details at all besides it happened some time before Sunday at around 1pm.
