Was playing 1/2 NL at the "Woods" yesterday and was involved in a hand with this loose player. I was in the CO and he was the BB. I held pocket 3's and called the $2. BB raised to $10 and I called. K,5,8 monotone flop comes out and he goes all in for about $30 and I called believing he had nothing. We turn over our hands and he had 10Jo and didn't catch giving me the pot. Looking back on the play even though I won the hand I am not sure if it is the right move for me to call with the 3's even when I believe if I was ahead. Any input or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I would hope you had an astounding read. I wouldn't usually call that raise PF to begin with.

Guy was playing a lot of junks cards K7o, 10-8s, Q4 to an all-in bets, calling with bottom pair, basically trying to gamble. I felt I had a good read on him but I just don't know if it really cost effective to play the hand in the long run. I agree with your point though thanks for the advice. I was playing really tight that day with the exception of this hand.

If your opponent here is really as crazy as you make him to be, why not wait for a better spot?

This sort of advice is wrong. You do not wait for great spots, you put your money in where you think you have an edge.
That being said, I fold that flop to anyone who does not show me their cards. |

Goot play.
If he had a big piece of that flop he wouldn't have pushed. I'd fold to a half-pot sized bet, but call an all-in. |
