Default QQ during an all-in fest

I was at a bit of a loss here:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (8 handed)

SB (t485)
Hero (t575)
UTG (t1325)
UTG+1 (t565)
MP1 (t2320)
MP2 (t420)
CO (t435)
Button (t1875)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 raises to t100, MP2 goes all-in (420), CO goes all-in (435), Button folds, SB goes all-in (485), Hero......?

My mouse would move to the fold button so fast it would start to smoke.

Can I guess? 88 vs AK vs AA

I would push, they probably against two Ax hands and a middle pair.

I pushed and immediately felt terrible about it. Then I saw the following:

AJo
99
A8s (yes, the SB overcalled an all-in with A8s!)

The more I think about it, the more I think this was a bad play, even if I did go on to win after quadrupoling up.

Fold...there's too good of a chance that at least one of them has you beat. Even if you're not beat preflop, you're probably going to lose the hand most of the time. There are better spots to get your chips in on.

Kinda buyin dependent but anywhere above $5, it's a fold.

If an alternative would apply only to the play-money tables and the $5's... is it really buyin dependant?

IMHO I push. My reasoning is as follows:

1. There is t1515 in the pot and three people already pot committed. If you call, it is t435 to you, which is about 3.5 to one odds. Thats pretty good odds. The problem is that since you only have t575, you are forced to push with one person still to act behind you. Since he is the big stack and is now getting about 4.4 to one odds to call, he probably is correct to do so.

Now you are in for all of your chips against 3 and probably 4 players with the 3rd best hand in poker and getting about 4.6 to one odds (if the big stack called). The odds are great if you were heads up. Unfortuately, there will probably be four others in the pot with you.

Worse case senario, even if one of them has AA, one has KK, one has JJ and the other has AK (which is highly unlikely) you are about a 5.2 to 1 dog.

2. You barely have ten times the big blind. You are only going to get so many good hands in a SNG. I say push, because of pot odds. If you lose, another SNG will start in about one minute.
