The posts here on this guy remind me of a pack of wild
starving dogs tearing the hide off a downed deer.
Dutch has not won millions and millions of dollars then...
....poof.......he's broke, he's won 80,000 here and 150K
there and XX.000 there.....and presto!....he pays his

We all have a good idea of what it takes to make a living
and Dutch has had to live too.
Can you just not stand the fact that he is super intelligent? Does it tear you up inside him getting admitted
to law school at 18 ???

I don't have a love affair with him cola, and I certainly don't think anyone here is an idiot. I read these posts
on how to play poker religously to improve my game, and
boy, does it need it. I spend hours a week just watching
Gigabet, Davidross, and a few others who post their results
here.
It just seems to me that some here can't wait for the next
dog to kick.
Remember a few weeks ago when Greg Raymer was attacked?
Their was an early post about it from someone in LV,
and before the posting was done, there was some guy
practically daring Greg to meet up with him for a face to face confrontation.
Anyway, you're not an idiot. Am I one for thinking about
backing Dutch for 1850.00, probably.

I actually agree that many of the posts against Boyd lacks nuance. When it comes to Pokerspot I believe he got ripped off by the cash processor himself. I don't think he rode off into the sunset with all the money himself, like many posters here seem to think. I also think there was a lot of chip dumping (for chips that weren't good, because of the cash processing) at Pokerspot in the end, and that some of the demands against Boyd is based to a large degree on money like that.

Then of course there is plenty to be critical of: not telling his players, not selling the software when he had the chance and him seeming to be an arrogant scumbag.

I am just always surprised by the rabid reception people here get when they don't hate him as much as some other posters do.

That said, I wouldn't be first in line to deposit at a new Dutch Boyd pokerroom.

Exactly.

I've said it before, but it's worth saying again. The fact that he has to ask for 4,000 in backing money ON EBAY is very telling. He should be able to get this money in the poker community easily. If they don't trust him, neither do I.

Dude, being admitted to law school at 18 doesn't make you super-intelligent. I was, and I'm not.

On the other hand, promoting yourself as a great poker player and then having to put yourself on ebay (ebay, for Pete's sake!) to pull together $3,000 to buy into a tourny may be proof posiitve you're NOT super-intelligent.
