If you didn't get it headsup on the river, I'd say you overplayed your hand.

That limp reraise by UTG always leads me to believe AA, KK or AK. Now, the board is coordinated and is going to get some callers while you have bottom 2 pair. If UTG was close to all-in, I'd get him tapped as soon as possible and maybe try to draw bets out of other players drawing if you are confident in you're hand. But, my guess is you are beaten, but you most definitely can't fold this. You did get a fold out of a probable flush draw, but who knows if you are getting any value out of your bets. I woulda slowed down after the 3 bet.

It shouldn't.

Yeah, you're right that it shouldn't do that at these limits where people do things for inexplicable reasons. But it probably makes the big hands more likely. You've got more experience than I do at the micro game, how often would you say a limp reraise does turn out to be one of those hands?

~25%.

If you have a read on the player, it's a lot easier to know.

FWIW -- I have 183 hands in my poker tracker db where someone limp re-raised and their hole cards are known (36,000 hands, probably 75% $.5/$1 and 25% $1/$2 most of the latter datamined...)

28 were AA, and 16 were KK. that's 44 out of 183 or 24%.

Here's a few others:

AKs - 5
AKo - 10
QQ - 15
JJ - 8
TT - 5

Beyond that I've caught every other pocket pair doing it at least once, and then there are the ne2sooted variety down to even 72s.

Surprisingly no 52o though...

What's massive. I'm ahead of a lot of the usual suspects on the flop, AA, AK, AQ. There are a lot of people still putting money in the pot, I can't be behind that many hands -- if any. And I have a redraw of my own to a full house.

Remember that you are also against 2 players and you have to beat them both until you created a side pot. Also, you're redraw to a full house could easily be no good. I'd slow down with bottom 2.
