Default Poker Mountain Email

FWIW I just got this from Poker Mountain

As a sign of our appreciation, and as an incentive to open a real money account, we're pleased to let you know about the following promotions and programs available to you when you open a real money account:

100% Deposit Bonus (up to $500). Free cash! Poker Mountain will match your initial cash deposit by adding the same amount into your account. The only condition is that the matching bonus will be released to you (to put into play or to withdraw) as you play at Poker Mountain. Specifically, every one hundred hands that you play (with rake of $0.50 or more) will release $10 into your account. Each dollar that you pay in tournament fees will count as eight (8) raked hands played.

Not exactly, it says 5000, 50 cent raked, hands. To put this in perspective, the Empire500 bonus was 2500 hands straight up. The most current Party reload offered $200 for 1400 raked hands. So this bonus would take slightly less then twice as long to clear as a Party bonus. Given theres even enough players to get some good games going. It is better then the Full [censored], I mean Tilt bonus.

The email was sent to the people who signed up during our beta testing, they were automatically given a special code. If you sign up without the new codes you won't qualify. I'd suggest checking for our ads in magazines.

Last I heard the emails are going out in batches. If you don't hear in the next few days, please email support, remember to give them your User ID.

the bonus signup code is the first four letters of a well known poker mag.

only 8 players online right now, we'll see how it goes.

you can yank your deposit back into neteller right away. 100% bonus dollars remain.

good luck poker mountain, get some fish up in there will ya

Well I downloaded it and there are 5 people playing for real money right now.

Do you have any info about how long this offer is valid for. Im not that great of a short handed player so the offer probably holds a -EV for myself right but if site traffic were to pick up it maybe worth my while.

We rolled out VERY quietly tonight, but word was on the newsgroups a minute later, so much for that! We are still in "slow roll" mode until we get all the kinks worked out so haven't done any big announcements (other than a thank you email to our beta testers). I suspect games will start to pick up now that we are outed, but I wouldn't expect big numbers for a little while. The bonus code that you can find in the magazines (and no doubt announced here soon) gets you the 500 for 500, plus an entry into a $25 (with no vig!) satellite that gets you into a semi final (or pay $200, also no vig!) for a Bellagio tournament in April.

Good luck.
