i'm a beginner/intermediate player who plays a lot online and would like to improve my game (hold'em, mostly fixed). i am willing to study and practice a lot to improve. (i mostly break even at the lower limits. i win a bit more than i lose, but not much more.)
which, if any, of these programs should I buy? and why? |

If you could only get 1; I vote for Poker Tracker. However, I think you should just get both and be done with it. I voted both on the poll.

Get pokertracker. Turbo is good for nothing but long term hand simulations. You can get 100x better practice in the microlimits than the practice Turbo provides.

If you're into doing sims, get TTH. But don't get it just to practice against. Human opponents are more useful for that -- and cheaper. |
