Should provide more humor than most of the sitcom's these days.

Well, speaking of humor, if Seinfeld was hosting, he'd say " Where do they get these people?". Check out the lineup:

Default More humor

I only caught a few hands of this show. One near the end had a dark-haired woman (S-something) come over the pot of $90K with half of her stack, making it $200,000 to go, with Q-rag.

When Isabelle came over the top, she folded.

Now, explain to me why you'd put half your stack in if you were planning on folding to a reraise?

I agree with part of your sentiment, but what would be the point of NL poker tournaments at all if laying down is not an option?

If conventional wisdom dictates that once you have committed half of your chips, then you cannot ever get away from the hand, then there would really never be any point to raising half of your stack, would there?

That is, if the wisdom were so conventional as to make the raise and fold to a reraise so ridiculous as to comment upon it.

lol!

My friend wouldn't stop talking about this the other night. I've pretty much gotten over the excitement I used to have about watching poker on TV. But him? No.
He was all about the ladies night. I'm pretty sure he was just hoping to see one or two sexy ladies. He will get one...if he's lucky.

Seriously, I hope the play isn't that bad. It wasn't the greatest last time around.

Clonie Gowen will be on it, and she's pretty hot. So that's good.

Wil Evelyn Ng be on it? That's the female my friend was dying to see play.

EDIT - Nevermind.. I just saw the list for myself. What a rag tag bunch.

Clonie is not hard on the eyes, I'll give you that. But the website claims that this lineup is the "finest female poker players". Did Kathy Liebert, Jennifer Harman, and Annie Duke slip down the ranks that much in the past year?
