Did I play this Kx flush draw right?
I didn't want to make people after me face two cold after the button bet.

Re: Did I play this Kx flush draw right?
Bet out on the flop, checking through is a bad thing and no one has shown aggression pre-flop. If MP2 raises, you are correct in simply calling the bet.
Turn and river are good, though a case can be made for a check-raise on the river, I think betting out is right. Were it a card that didn't threaten MP2's Jacks, I think it would be more liklely. Against an aggressive player, check-raise here, though. -d |

Yeah I contemplated the check-raise but too often I try it meep and it's checked right through. People often freeze up when a third suited card hits the board and become very passive. :\

I agree, and the overcard to his pair couldn't have helped the situation. So, only against an aggressive player would I do that on this river.

Re: Did I play this Kx flush draw right?
I like a flop bet better than a flop c/r because you only have three opponents.
Good river bet. |

Raise the flop.

Re: Did I play this Kx flush draw right?
Facing the field with 2-cold on the flop destroys the implied odds of his hand, which are the only thing he has going for him right now.

Re: Did I play this Kx flush draw right?
OP needs to bet the flop, rather than taking a chance of a choice between facing the field w/2 cold on a c/r, flatcalling a bet, or having it checked through. A bet on the flop is the clear play.
