Default Ok EPassporte officially sucks.

For the third time in two weeks A charge was declined on the merchant end yet the money still came out of my passport account. When I call customer service they tell me to have the company fax them all of this stuff.

Really aggravating.

I would suggest people avoid this card at all costs.

It's only use is to withdraw money from Atm's.

I've been told that even if a charge is declined, epassporte will "hold" the money for up to 30 days cause they're a bunch of dipshits. How are the ATM fees compared with Neteller? Obviously you can load the card from Party with no fee, but are the fees assessed by epassporte any higher for ATM withdrawls? What about POS transactions?

On a positive note, I used my Neteller debit card for the first time yesterday to buy groceries (my first poker withdrawl ever). I withdrew $200 to my card, crediting me with $198. I went to a local Trader Joe's, where I picked out $52 in groceries. I selected $40 cashback, and waited in eager anticipation as my transaction was "pending approval" for over 30 seconds. I was just getting worried when the checker (a friend of mine) said "Oh, it approved like 30 seconds ago. It's just waiting for me to hit OK"... what a jerk... Made me feel good to get delicious frozen entrees on the Fish's dime.

All I will say is this much.....

Epass does as much if not MORE the Neteller could ever even IMAGINE processing through their parent company, paycom.net

When Netteller crashes (if they do) this WILL become this most solid company for ATM transactions... Their parent company took a MULTI MULTI MULTI million dollar visa hit a few years back and came back 10 X as strong and are an industry leader in their respective field. These people are TEN times as solid as neteller and have been around since 1997-1998.

Keep in mind, EPass is just a spinoff .... that will reform. When the time is right.

BTW, Any problems with Epass that aren't swiftly resolved I would be VERY VERY suprised.

Yes they will hold the money.. but not for 30 days.. but for up to 60 DAYS!

I am going through a process now of having the company fax a form to them saying to drop the charge.

Real pain in the a$$

On a side note.. The charge is 2 bucks for an atm withdraw. The card really does not work anywhere else though. Since it is an international visa card most U.S merchants won't accept it.

I was also wondering as far as fees go, for both Neteller and ePass, they both mention a fee for a declined transaction at merchant POS or atm. That seems rather annoying. Why even go around and try to use it if you're going to get declined half the time and run up a string of little charges?

I know this has been asked many times before but...

How much $ can one take from an ATM at one time? I know that $300 was the limit many years ago, but I would assume that there must be a way to get more that $300 out at a time. The Neteller webpage says you can WD up to 100k per transaction(I'd like to see an ATM that can handle that!)

I have seen it asked but never a solid answer, plus, I'm ATM stupid, I put my paycheck in there but never take out cash.

thanks all

I've taken $500 out of a Bank of America machine with my BOA ATM card.

Does the Epass debit card have any problems working at various merchants as debit, instead of VISA?

Yes Freakin. I and others have had some serious problems using the card at most Point of sale stores.

The card is pretty much worthless as an everyday card. As I said prior it is ok to use as an atm card.
