Default Typical preflop situation

You raise from CO+1 with 66, CO 3 bets, button caps, back to you - what is your play? Another 2+2er and I disagreed on this and I'd like to hear your opinions.

Yeah, I call, my friend disagreed. Basically I think your implied odds are so bonkers because of the fact that 2 dudes love their hand that you pretty much have to play it here. Good to see I'm not crazy.

Yeah the implied odds are sweet if you flop a set, with a hand like 66 you're still vunerable to loosing a huge pot to an overpair that flopped top set. If you're up against two overpairs--you are certainly up against one--it's a -EV play. Still, depends on your opponent.

I know that I am relatively new but I am inclined to fold.

This is at least analogous to looking at cold calling a raise with 66. Andyfox and I went over this one night, after I had folded ny 88 over on the Planet 20/40 only to see a flop come T88.

Hmmm... 5:1 is probably just good enough to call here. But this is only if you are going to promptly get out of the hand if no 6 or straight draw flops.

Your answer doesn't make that much sense. Tight players have huge hands, and will go off for lots of bets here when you flop a set and they have an overpair. Aggressive, tough players may make this hand closer, since they will make you make incorrect folds later, though this is mitigated by the fact that there are multiple players in the pot. Regardless, you have two choices in this hand: call, or call.
