Re: top 3 gambling movies
Cisco Kid or San Francisco Kid with Steve McQueen in it is and oldie but goodie. A couple of The Gambler movies with Kenny Rogers were also decent. The old "The Hustler" with Newman and Gleason was good.

Re: top 3 gambling movies
I also liked Indecent Proposal with Redford, Demi Moore, and Woody Harrelson. White Men Can't Jump is a good one with Snipes and Harrelson.

Re: top 3 gambling movies
I second the motion for "The Gambler".
Honorable mention is the 3-card brag scene from "Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels". The rest of that movie is refreshingly violent, recommended to anyone on the violence content alone. "Your excuses are your own" -- Richard Roma |

Re: top 3 gambling movies
You forgot "California Split". George Seagal and Elliot Gould as low-limit California poker players that take a trip to the big-time in Reno.
