Re: How was voter turnout where you voted
I hear there are lines in rural and sububan precincts that normally have no lines.
It is harder to judge the urban lines (since they often have had lines in the past just due to the numbers of people that have to vote at one location). I wonder where the turnout is the highest - urban or non-urban? Please tell us what type of precinct you voted in (urban, suburban, rural). |

Re: How was voter turnout where you voted
I only had to spend about 15 min. in line where I voted (in MA, near Boston), but this is considerably longer than I've experienced in the past.

Re: How was voter turnout where you voted
I always vote very early in the morning in a rural precinct. In the past, I would just walk in and vote with no line, no wait. Today I had to wait for just a few minutes. In those few minutes, a small line was starting to form behind me.
I think turnout nationally is going to be pretty high (compared to recent elections) today. |

Re: How was voter turnout where you voted
I voted in Manhattan. Turnout seemed about normal.
It was kind of funny, after all the hype, to actually look at the ballot and realize that not a single one of the races on my ballot will be close, not national, not state, not local. I didn't even get a sticker. |

Re: How was voter turnout where you voted
I voted in Westchester County, NY, at 7:00 am. There were very short lines, consistent with "normal" turnout.
Like fnurt, not a single race on my ballot will be close with the possible exception of judicial elections. |
