15-30, no read, what\'s the default?
Okay 15 game on Party.
Cutoff openlimps, SB completes, I check w/ A7o. Flop A-J-4 two diamonds, I have the 7d. SB bets out, I raise (which I was unsure about) and the CO 3-bets it. SB folds, I call. Turn is an offsuit 5. I check and fold. Thoughts? |

Absent player notes, you made best ev play. In a live game I call down to get a read on the guy. Online, it's probably not worth it.

My worst advice ever
I'm not sure if I misread the post and thought a diamond came on the turn or if I was just half asleep, but you can't fold the turn here. If a diamond hit the turn, I'd fold. As the hand is though, I'm seeing a showdown.

Don't you think that the cutoff makes the same play with a flush draw here? With no other information, this seems a more likely than a bigger ace.

RH [/ QUOTE ] If the range of hands you are against is either beat against Ax (high value for x) or against the fllush draw, him having the flush draw can be more likely than Ax and you should still fold. See why? |

Re: 15-30, no read, what\'s the default?
I'd call it down assuming the flush doesn't get there. Do you remember which card wasn't a diamond? If it was the J, this could easily be JTs with a flush draw.
