This forum is getting really wierd!
I used to come here to read about tourny updates, chat about hands played and such. Now it's just plain freaky. These ultra-long posts by Paul and others (that I don't even understand because they're so long winded, I don't read all of them) and the endless, strange polls and now "Begging for Buy-ins".
Is this a result of the expansion of poker that we now have so many wierd posts and replies. I posted about the way Howard L. played a hand in the Poker Superstars event and got 1 response. Someone writes about chew at the table and gets 72 !!! I think it's time to move on to a better forum. I don't want to find another site, but it looks like I may have to. Am I the only one discouraged? |

Re: This forum is getting really wierd!
Well I'm relatively new to 2+2, and whenever I come to this forum Paul seems to be ranting about hypothetical scenarios, and talking in riddles. If Joe wins pot x from Sam, what will Joe have for dinner? Who cares? Nothing against you Paul, but all of your posts seem to have a condescending tone.
This forum is filled with know-it-alls trying to show everyone how good their vocabulary is, and how bad their manners are. What is the point? From my observations, there's nothing more than gossip, insults, and meaningless logic problems. Most of the other forums/threads are helpful, however. |

Re: This forum is getting really wierd!
yeah, personally i'd like to see a seperate forum section for some of these "off topic" posts. it is getting a bit crazy (and all in the span of about a month).

Hi luvtina,
[ QUOTE ] The word "It's"<font color="red">,</font> when used as a contraction of the words "it is"<font color="red">,</font> has an apostrophe. [/ QUOTE ] The commas should be placed within the quote marks: The word "It's<font color="red">,</font>" when used as a contraction of the words "it is<font color="red">,</font>" has an apostrophe. Hi Sephus,
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Glass houses, stones, etc. [/ QUOTE ] This is not a complete sentence. [/ QUOTE ] Actually, "This is not a complete sentence" is a complete sentence. You meant to say, "That is not a complete sentence." Cris |
