mid- to low- stakes no limit games in vegas...where?
i'm going to vegas in november, and would like to play in a 2/5 to 5/10 no limit game. there is a 2/5 game with a max $400 buy-in that i play locally that i'd love to find an equivalent of in vegas while i'm there. last time i was in vegas the few casinos i played poker in didn't have no limit tables. where can i find the type of game i'm lookign for? thanks in advance.

They have a $2-$5 game at bellagio with a $200 cap. Play on the weekends for more tourists, during the week it is a lot of older solid players.

[/ QUOTE ] last time i was in vegas i tried to play at bellagio and it was something crazy like a 2 hour wait. is the amount of players (some of whom might be terrible) worth the wait there, or should i try somewhere else? |

Dude, try the Borgata on a Saturday night, you can wait up to 4 hours.

Are there any good games during the week? I'll be there in November but not on the weekend and I'll be in the market for mid- to low-stakes no-limit, too.

The Palms game is always good. Lots of action, just stay tight and play the nuts and you'll still get action. They always have 1 table and have seen as many as 4 no limit games on a weekday with a 30 man waiting list. Best bet is to call in the reservation for the Palms (they allow it) and then just show up in 30-60 mins and you'll probably be next in line. And if you're in the casino, they will call it over the P.A. system and give you like 5 minutes to show up. The host/floor/shift mng (depends on who is there) are always VERY accomidating to their players.
The Mirage has a 1-300 buy in with 2/5 blinds which is a good game too. Usually 1 or 2 tables, sometimes 3 going. List isn't too bad in there, if they get like 14 or 15 on the list they will open a second or third table in the afternoons. They do not take phone in reservations and if you are no there when you're name is up, they remove you from the list. |

Thanks a lot for the info. I'm staying at the Luxor if that matters at all.
