Default 60-120 hand Th3h

i really wanted to share these hands with all of you. how do you think i did?

very first hand, excellent game. i have Th3h and i posted in the cutoff so i have a small bet in already. some people limp and i check and some other people come in and 7 of us see a flop.

Ts6h5c. sb bets, bb calls, two others call, i call. button folds. 5 of us.

the turn is 7h. sb bets, bb calls, some lady calls, i raise, sb folds, bb and lady call.

the river is Qc. checked to me and i check.

what do you think of that?

I think you're really enjoying life these days and I'm very happy for you.

The 60-120 attracted the worst players from the 40-80 the day I was there. With all the 40-80 games, having a 60-120 makes sense.

not that I'm an expert or anything, but I'd rather raise the flop and try to get a free card. After catching the heart on the turn I'd probably take the free card too.

You must have played it badly, as that's just how I would have played it too.

Ok, top pair crap kicker, not a good chance you are winning but if you combine that chance with backdoor flush and hitting a 3 then you have to at least call. How likely were you to get a free card here? At this limit I'm assuming it's unlikely if you are behind but I don't really know.

On the turn how likely are you to be ahead? If this is the type of game where the callers can't have you beat beause they would have raised then raising here looks good depending on how likley the SB is to bet the flop and the turn into that field with a draw or worse hand. Getting 3 bet on the turn would really suck though so I would strongly consider just calling.

On the river, with all that strength you represented on the turn you aren't likely to get called very often by worse hands so a check looks good. Again this depends strongly on your opponents which in your games seem to be of the fishy variety.

I think this hand would be more interesting, if the "some lady" bet the river at you, or something else fell, and somebody else found a bet. I'm not crazy about the flop, but a call seems clear. On the turn, I think the raise shows a profit. On the river, I don't think a bet is profitable, good restraint there, because when you do win this hand, you'll always think, jeeze, I should've bet the river.

ps. I think the interesting street is the river, and whether a bet can fold out an SB with a T who decided he needed to improve after you raised the turn.
