Default Atheism and Happiness

How do atheists feel happy given their view that death is the end of their being?

In life they are topless and in death they are bottomless but then it is too late to checkraise.

While I know you certainly can afford your share, David, if and when I ever find myself in your neck of the woods AND you're at one of those types of places, keep your $20 in your pockets as the ladies are on me and my crew (er, I should find a new name for them, given the negativity against "The Crew" here on 2+2 for whatever reason).

Regardless, I'd consider it a priceless opportunity to watch you calculate some stripper's implant's volume while she is atop you.

I have already downloaded my consciousness onto my PDA, and am working on a robot to upload it into. I figure that way I can live forever.

See how ridiculous that sounds?

Just because pie in the sky by and by when you die sounds nice doesn't mean it's not absurd.

I must say that this quote exhibits a perfect example of a Holy Roller being out of touch with everyday life.
