Default New Lake Charles area Casino? Anyone see the billboards?

On I-10 there are some new billboards advertising a Casino. The design is terrible and very hard to read at any speed. All I can get is they are hiring. It looks like a French / Cajin name but don't get me lying. They have a web address that is even harder to read that the name. Anyone?

Sucka? are you part of a husband and wife team that plays 10/20 at the Isle? Were you there two weeks ago, maybe on Sunday, Monday?

No - not a 'husband and wife' team - my wife has never been. However, I do play the 10 game there, when I actually find time to make it down that way.

I haven't been to LC in several months...

I think depending on Billboards on the side of the road as a source of information isn't the best method to stay informed.

You are correct! Info on a the opening of a new casino should only be trusted from a source that has been double and triple checked. After all, lots of people spend +20K to put up a dozen fake billboards. What was I thinking?

I haven't seen the billboards here in Lafayette, but there running freaking radio ads every 1/2 hour seeking people to work there. I don't know the spelling, but its pronounced, Low-berge Do-lock.

Thanks! Now I can be the first Texan to say it correctly, even if I have a little Twang in my voice.

On a related note.......

I hear the Isle is moving the boat with the Poker room to another location. I was told the poker room manager said they were going to try and find room on the big boat for poker. WTF? They get the room going good and then close it? I don't know if this is true, but if so Harrah's is going to be the place to be.

This is some serious Bull Crap. Do you know the date for this move? They better have the new room set up and running before hauling off the old room.

I'll be passing through there tomorrow (Monday) night and try to find out more. Will report back.

BTW: David are you the guy that plays tennis, collects chips and plays a mean 10/20?
