Party 1/2 6 max
I've been progressively playing more 1/2 as my bankroll grows, and will probably switch over entirely in the next couple of weeks if I don't go on a bad run.
A weird thing I've noticed, though, is the huge difference between the full games and the 6-max games. The best full games I've played are sort of like a slightly tighter, more competent version of the .5/1. But the 6-max ones have been just insane. The last 6-max I played featured two players with 100% VP$IP, one of which would raise preflop with any Ax, Kx, 2 suited, etc. They'd get a couple of ridiculous wins, then burn through their stack in about 30-40 minutes, then just buy in again and do it over. Wow. Is this normal, or was I just on some really weird tables? |

Re: Party 1/2 6 max
Completely normal. The shorthanded tables attract the maniacs, who want all the action. Watch some 5/10 shorthanded or even 10/20 shorthanded - some of the play there is just as ridiculous.
