Saw some very weak players at the 6-12 at Ameristar moving up to the 10-20 there. The 20-40 was reportely very soft, too, but this is third-hand information.

Haven't been to Harrah's yet, but look forward to it next time I go home. Give a trip report when you get back.

Keep in mind Missouri's messed up gaming laws, where you can only buy in for $500 (I think, I can't remember the exact amount) per gaming session, which is two hours (again, not sure for the time interval).

Point being, you probably wouldn't be able to buy a full stack for a 20-40 game until one interval had passed.

I watched the 20-40 for a bit; extremely aggressive. Lotsa capping.

Harrah's room just opened so Ameristar probably has better dealers.

My friends old roomate is one of the new floorman at the Harrahs, and he, as well as a bunch of the dealers, came from Ameristar. My friend plays at both, and plays alot. He says the 20-40 at ameristar is insane, very aggressive. He plays the HENL, but will play that once and awhile. The way you get around the buy in laws is to buy chips from other players in the bathrooms, they cannot have cameras in there. Most high limit players keep chips with them, and keep bringing them back.

true, and you can theoretically buy in for 1000$ in the space of ten minutes. From the way it was explained to me, you can buyin for 500 dollars every two hours, but the two hour increments are divided up by even number of hours on the clock. So buy in for 500 at 155, the 500 more at 204. or something

The Missouri gaming laws regarding limited losses, are too much for me. I never play in Missouri. There is already enough aggravation, in poker rooms.
