Paradise eliminates all-ins
Apologies if I missed some other post announcing this. Paradise now has no all-in protection whatsoever. I wonder if they decided this as a cost-saving move: I'm sure lots of work hours were spent investigating allegations of all-in abuse, so this is probably a substantial savings for them.
As a player I am totally in favor of it: it prevents abuse and increases speed of play (and may even motivate people with annoyingly slow connections to upgrade). Benefitting from and getting screwed by real connection problems should even out over time. |

Re: Paradise eliminates all-ins
InterPoker (Intercasino) seems to have have done this on their PL NL games. Not sure about Limit.

Re: Paradise eliminates all-ins
all-in is gone in limit games too.
If you have a lousy PC or connection it could be -EV. If your PC works great, it is definitely +EV. Just yesterday I picked up a pot I was about to fold on the river. I call it the GWB good luck. |

Re: Paradise eliminates all-ins
I like the idea, but my question is what will happen when there's network trouble? You know, like when half the internet goes down. Will they cancel the games in progress?
Also, I think someone's hand should only be folded if there is a bet to them. Anyone agree? |
