You can fold that hand pre-flop.

I check the river almost every time here.

this is a loose call preflop. I think K9s is fine here, so K8s is bornerline, but I still think it's an easy muck.

and yes, the river bet is easy.

I think I would check. Why is it an easy bet ?

I checked figuring a better hand was likely out there. Im not sure about the math on this, but my seat of the pants estimation tell me its borderline.

Results said...

River: (12.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB

Results in below:
SB shows Kh 5h (one pair, kings).
BB shows 7h Ks (one pair, kings).
Hero shows 8c Kc (one pair, kings).
CO shows Ts Qs (one pair, queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 12.50 BB.

Those are the results, a bet would have won me atleast 2 maybe 3 more bets in this specific hand.
Though the hands they held are the BEST case scenario .

I bet the river, but it would normally depend on my read of the table conditions and opponents left in the hand. You'd likely see more action on the flop and turn from a KQ/Q2/K2, and definitely more action from an Ax on the turn.

I agree though that this is a loose call preflop, but given your competition here it worked out okay. I'd stick to K9s or better in that spot. The added potential to make straights makes it more +EV than K2s-K8s.

Think I'd check the river. With KT+ I'd lean more towards betting.

The pre-flop limp is a tad loose, but K-8s in a 7 handed pot is not bad.

I would bet the river here as well. Nobody has given you any indication that your hand will not hoild up here.

As you noted, you lost out on 3BB here by not betting. That is a bog loss.

I agree that that hand should be folded on the flop. If the kicker was close to J+ I would have gone and bet on the river. I would have been very afraid of the A though.
