Default ok with 99?

Is a flop raise the correct play here or should I be waiting for the turn?

Easy raise preflop, especially 7-handed.

I would be fine with waiting until the turn to raise here.

Consider raising pre-flop here, especially 7 handed, and especially if by "fish" you mean that UTG is too loose.

Post flop is fine. Why wait?

Bets on the turn are twice as big as the ones on the flop.

Player stuck inbetween.

Only draw is flush, which you can't protect against either way.

First off I prefer to raise the turn here for the reasons Pilop gives. Now if a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] falls on the turn I don't know if I raise it. Not because I fear the flush so much, but because I don't want to lose the other players. Note the pot is not grand so should I burn myself by letting weak hands continue I won't be happy but it's not a disaster either.

EDIT: Wait I need to think a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] turn through better. I maybe should raise to charge a flush draw and an Ace will
still have trouble folding. If I get 3-bet on the turn I still have outs to a FH. Yeah that sounds better... I think I need coffee!!
