What reads if any do you have on Copycat and Royal? [/ QUOTE ] Nothing useful. I know I should pay more attention while I play, but I was 4 tabling and watching "Troy" on TV. |

Re: $22 AT flops top pair but is check raised
I would generally lay this down unless i have any reads which i usually don't. I don't think he is reraising alot of hands you beat here.

Re: $22 AT flops top pair but is check raised
Are my hands so uninteresting that no one who reads them wants to respond?

1 hour 56 minutes on the quietest 2+2 day of the week. Lori [/ QUOTE ] It's gotten quite a few views in those 2 hours. I guess a lot of people like to read posts but not comment on them? Or maybe they don't know the answer? I'm genuinely curious. And it's not just this post, but some of my others as well. But most likely it's just that I'm so friggin impatient. |

Re: $22 AT flops top pair but is check raised
I sometimes read a lot of posts and go back later, sometimes I answer straight away, sometimes I'll read one and just not be interested.
In this instance, I think the answer to your question is "Play poker" which means "Use your wits and knowledge of the other players to determine whether you should call or not" I'm guessing this is why there are not many replies. If I suddenly found myself in your seat in this exact position I guess I would probably push and assume that if I'm behind that 2 pair would normally win it for me. I do think though that applying this advice would be incorrect in a large enough percentage of hands to make the advice pretty much useless. Lori |
