NL Hourly Win Rate
I apologize if this has been discussed before, and a link to the thread would be appreciated. I searched for it without success.
In any case, in limit we talk about hourly win rates in terms of BB/hour or BB/100 hands. Popular opinion is that in live play a "good" player should make 1BB/hour. My question is: What about NL? How is this measured? How much should a "good" player make, relative to the blinds? Thanks in advance for your help. |

Re: NL Hourly Win Rate
No problem. I didn't list a whole lot of information on the winrates, I apologize for that. It's just a topic that's been beaten to death and I never read the threads. They don't concern me much. If I were you I would use the search feature and try and find better articles on winrates and such. Google might pull up some good results aswell.

Re: NL Hourly Win Rate
It depends on stakes.
At the $25 NL tables 15PTBB/100 (or 30 big blinds/100 hands) is just about sustainable By the time you're up to the $200 NL tables 10PTBB/100 would be regarded as the very top end I think. Once you are sustaining 7-10 PTBB/100 at any level (and have the roll) you can be pretty happy that you will win at the level above IMHO... By sustaining I'm talking about 20K + hands.. |

Re: NL Hourly Win Rate
Over my first 10K hands my win rate at the $25 6maxes was around 21 BB / 100. However, over my next 10K it dipped so that I am now around 19.5 BB/100 over the 20K hands.
Your winrate seems to be a bit high, but it could be sustainable given that the $25s are so bad. |

Re: NL Hourly Win Rate
I have over 200k hands at the nl $25 level at several sites (about two years of playing) and my winrate is 20BB/100... This was the win rate posted in forums like this (as to being a good rate for a solid player) when I first started playing and it has held up for me... I would imagine one could have a higher rate, perhaps even up to 30BB/100 but I play a pretty conservative game as I rarely gamble... I am the ultimate low stakes tight/aggressive grinder...

Re: NL Hourly Win Rate
sorry I'm assuming 3-4 tabling for these rates - if you 1-2 table you can probably add 30-50% to what is sustainable
anyone making 20PTBB/100 over the long haul 4-tabling should probably move up unless they have wome weird bankroll issues |

Re: NL Hourly Win Rate
Two years of playing at 20PTBB/100 and you didnt give 50NL a shot ?
My advice is to seriously consider moving up. With you current winrate at 25NL your chances are very good to crush 50NL games. |

[/ QUOTE ] - I know, I know... But I need the steady $600+ I make from poker month in and month out... I have taken stabs at higher levels (up to .50/1), but I just need that steady poker income to help with my personal finances... Some day when my situation is better I will indeed move up... - |
