Default First Royal, how\'d I play it?

This was my first royal in over a year of playing. I think I could have gotten more maybe out of the turn, not sure why I slowed down there. I had somebody willing to play with me and I'm usually very aggressive. How'd I play it and where could I have gotten more out of this hand?

With 12 outs to the nuts, raising/capping this flop is for value.

Why would you raise the turn with K high? You want to see the river cheaply.

Otherwise, nice hand.

Are you referring to the preflop raise? I called the turn. If you meant preflop, I like to raise this type of hand in this position preflop. I have a couple limpers in front of me, can seize the button and maybe have the blinds fold. Plus, I feel that if I hit with a hand like this, in position, the extra bet preflop just pads the pot a little. Is this raise questionable?
