3 barrel bluff
I wasn't going to fire again on the river, but his bet felt like a cheap blocking bet. PS $33 Deep Stack. Early in tourney. No reads.

Re: 3 barrel bluff
So, what hand did you lose to?

Re: 3 barrel bluff
You don't think he bets here with a T and makes sure he gets paid off? I can't fault you for making a play because you thought he was weak, but the last thing he wants you to do here is check behind.

Re: 3 barrel bluff
Unless villain had two of them how could he possibly still be in the hand?

Re: 3 barrel bluff
The villain opened for 3x. It's early, stacks are deep. I think his range is pretty enormous, and he has enough chips to try to From the passive way he's played this hand I'd say JTs, is completely a possibility, given that he opened with it. If he puts the OP on a missed ace he very well may see a turn. The turn J either pairs him, with JT or gives him a draw. The nine gives him two pair, or straight.
Either way, I think his range here is large enough given the situation that he's betting for value, not blocking, on the end. |
