Re: just popped my cherry!
I remember my first (and my only).
I didn't even realize it until it appeared in the chat window and everyone started going nuts. Reason was I flopped a straight and didn't notice when it royaled up on the river. A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Flop was T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] So of course I was pumping ht pot the whole time. Turn was a rag River Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I was still betting my straight (hahah) and noticed the box said royal flush and I wigged. |

Re: just popped my cherry!
I wonder what feels better your first Royal or your first hole in one? Sadly I have had neither!!!!1

Re: just popped my cherry!
First hole in one is far better, as it is completely due to your skill, not some random shuffle of cards.
However, I had my second royal flush ever last night, after about 150,000 online hands, and it felt damn good, especially when I beat a full house and another flush for mucho action. |

I once hit a terrible shot in the teeth at a par 3 that bounced low and off to the right. The ball then hit a rock, bounced back on the fairway, rolled down a hill onto the green creeping up to the hole. It looked like it was about to go in but stopped literally on the lip. Thank God! I wouldn't want my one and only hole in one to have been with that shot! |

He got a hole in one on the first 130 yard par 3. He may as well have kicked the ball because it worm-burnered down the fairway and up onto the green to plop into the cup. I agree, pure skill. |

Re: just popped my cherry!
I just popped one last night. AKd flopped a straight 10d Qd Js, turned a Jc, rivered a Jd. "villian had AJ. playing .50/1 6-max. On party would have got like a gagillion dollars, on absolute? 1 XL Absolute poker t-shirt. WooHoo.
