BB bubble hand.
Table had tighten up due to being on the bubble my chip stack was about 16k, 20th out of 63, second or third at the table.
Blinds 800/1600 MP limps - about 12k in chips SB limps - table chip leader BB (hero) do the cards even matter here? Should I be making a raise here or just limp along and hope to catch something on the flop?? On the hand in question I had 72o. I checked. Flop is 237 rainbow. SB checks, Hero?? |

Re: BB bubble hand.
I probably wouldn't raise here since the chipleader is in the pot and he is the most likely to play against you. If it were you vs the limper I'd throw in a raise. Bet out the flop like 1/2 to 2/3 pot. Don't check raise here because he throws away all the hands that you want to stay in. After your bet, if you get raised, I'd probably go all in. If he has a pocket pair he may look you up, if its 88+ he's definitely calling and your a favorite to every hand except 77,33,22 but 77 and 22 are virtually impossible. And if he has air you probably won't get him to bet out the turn after you call his raise unless its a really aggro oppoenent, then this line may be best. There is a good chance he has a big pair and didn't want to fold out the blinds and this is a great opportunity to double up.
