Re: AK hits big but......
Flat call, adn hope for an over call. Obviously, your going to have to pay off short stack if he beats you. If CO has 4 4, I'm loosing my stacks. BTW, you have plenty of outs if he indeed has 4 4 (4+7). So flat call, hope for an over call. Lead the turn.

Re: AK hits big but......
Tough one, someone certainly had you tied or beat. Unless CO just wants to see where he stands with JJ-KK and UTG has AQ.
I guess I should had reraised "anyway"... |

Re: AK hits big but......
PUSH! There is almost no better flop you could see, and there are only 2 hands that beat you (and only one of them is really realisic). And against the only realistic hand that beats you, you have some outs still.. so, push i say!

Re: AK hits big but......
looks like UTG flopped his set of 4's.
I'd say you got CO outkicked so I'd just flat call and hope he comes along and push on the turn to create a side pot and get some of your money back. |

Re: AK hits big but......
Flat call, bet 60 on the turn and 70 on the river. Transparant, but what can you do.

Re: AK hits big but......
Well I don't think there are five aces in the deck, so someone must have something else. Yuck.

Re: AK hits big but......
oops, i didnt see you were more deap-stacked than i thought-so calling is fine. In any case, i think your money is going into the middle of his pot and there is no real way around it.
Also, i dont see why other people are having such a big issue with this. I mean, other people most likely have ace with a decent kicker and think they are best. CO would have had some pocket pair like TT and is trying to find out where he stands. The big bettor obviously has at least an ace (i think thats probably at most what he has), but you certainly cant lay this down- no way. |

Re: AK hits big but......
I like the idea of flat calling and creating side-pot with CO on the turn.
The only problem is when UTG has AQ and CO is the one with 44. Yuck. |
