This post inspired by you know what.....the recent PBS stuff on this week.
I'm torn - between Freewheeling and Blood on the Tracks - I also found some incredible stuff on the Bootleg Series 1-3 - so I'm letting you pick your favorite three. Most of these won't get a vote, but I'd rather include them all then have someone say I left them out... I did leave out greatest hits collections, but left in compilations with lots of alternate takes and live albums, including the official boogleg series. RB |

very very good...I thought about swinging by and checking out where he rerecorded some of the tracks in Minneapolis - I think it's in a South Minneapolis neighborhood somewhere...

I'm glad Blonde on Blonde is holding its own. Blood on the Tracks is just too easy (as is Highway 61, though all three got my vote).

I probably should have made it just your favorite instead of 3 choices...
with 3 choices, almost EVERYONE will pick that as one of the three... RB |

that was the FIRST Bob Dylan I ever heard - and of course, this is after I heard all the hype -
pretty damned good - it was kinda cool to know what All Along the Watchtower sounded like before it became the cover tune of every numbnut who could play Am-G-F-F RB |
