I agree that cashews are the best nut, but I find it interesting that they are the only nut on the list that I have never seen in a shell. Anyone seen a cashew shell before?

The shells are toxic and are always removed long before you see them.

Cashews actually grow on a type of apple. They essentially connect the top of the apple to the stem.

Yummy.
