200+15 something\'s not right?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (10 handed) converter
UTG (t900) UTG+1 (t1035) UTG+2 (t1105) Hero (t940) MP2 (t1115) MP3 (t895) CO (t734) Button (t1366) SB (t980) BB (t930) Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 2 folds, UTG+2 calls t50, Hero raises to t150, MP2 calls t150, 5 folds, UTG+2 calls t100. Flop: (t525) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG+2 checks, Hero bets t250, MP2 calls t250, UTG+2 folds. Turn: (t1025) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero all in t540 MP2 folds. Final Pot: t1025 UTG+2 is reasonable. MP2 is loose. I have a pretty tight image if they're paying attention as this is probably the first hand I played. I'm a fish when it comes to what is technically correct in SNG's so comments on all streets appreciated. |

Re: 200+15 something\'s not right?
I think I just push the flop. You don't even have 2x pot after the coldcallers to the initial raise, and the board is really scary.
Pushing the flop has got to be correct here, IMHO. |

Re: 200+15 something\'s not right?
I'm getting myself in this kind of situation a lot which is why I posted the hand to begin with. On the turn the pot is 1/2 my stack and the only respectable bet I can make is all in. Do you guys think that when this happens I probably should have just pushed on the previous betting round?
I'd also like to know if the rest of you agree with lastchance about simply pushing on this flop. |

Re: 200+15 something\'s not right?
You would have probably been paid off with AQ (or worse) if you had pushed the flop. Considering your stack size, pushing the flop is your only option (you are going all-in no matter what).

Re: 200+15 something\'s not right?
I push the flop to to push out straight draws and flush draws (or atleast give them improper odds to call), or get paid off by AQ...
But I play the $11's, so what do I know? |
