Re: $22 - How do you play KK with a flopped A?
that ridiculous bet could mean that he's afraid of the A too.
Not really sure what to do though. Any reasonable raise would pretty much pot commit you. I would probably call and see what villain does on the turn. |

Re: $22 - How do you play KK with a flopped A?
that's a pretty bizarre raise from villain.
i definitely want to raise here. problem is that the pots already at 500+ and you've got 575 behind. you may be going broke on this hand... been involved with any other hands with villain? |

Re: $22 - How do you play KK with a flopped A?
If you give villan a bit of credit, then it seems that the two flush flop would lead him to bet a hell of a lot more than t45 if he had an A. A flopped set at this level would most likely either check to trap or raise to the flush draw as well. Combined with his call preflop, it smells like QQ-TT.
I most likely can't bring myself to fold this, because I've seen this weak flop bet many times when villan is not holding an ace. I might flat call, I might reraise (but not push) |

Re: $22 - How do you play KK with a flopped A?
If the bet had been normal sized I would generally just fold. My first thought was to call and postpone the real decision until after the turn. But, maybe a raise is in order to help figure out where I am.

Re: $22 - How do you play KK with a flopped A?
I hate party tournaments because the stacks are so shallow so early on. That said, I probably raise to likee 250 or something here, and after all, you've got at least 3 outs if you aren't ahead already, which I think you will be most of the time. This certainly looks like a scared JJ or QQ.

Re: $22 - How do you play KK with a flopped A?
What kind of crazy bet is that? Could he be trying to buy a cheap turn card? I suppose this is unlikely given that you have the Kc. It seems to me that a raise large enough to give you more information will leave you pretty much pot committed.
I'd probably call here and see what develops on the turn. I can't fold to such a tiny bet. |

Call and re-evaluate turn. I've gotten to showdown with a winner here for cheap lots, but I also have had to fold a lot too.

Villain's 45 bet on the flop is too small to fold to. Call and gauge on the turn.
