Isolation 3-bet foiled!
UTG is 50 vpip and 30 pfr
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (7 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG caps, Hero calls, Button calls, BB calls. Assume UTG bets into you: What's your plan if an A flops? If blanks fall? EDIT: Assume for the flop: BB checks, then UTG bets. |

Re: Isolation 3-bet foiled!
if an ace falls, be prepared to raise and possibly cap in order to get it heads up. if the initial flop raise manages to get the button and big blind to drop, and utg 3-bets it anyway, i would most likely just call him down barring any improvement...preferably a jack. (betting if checked to of course) it gets a little dicey if you get some cold callers and utg keeps pushing, depending on reads and such its hard to say what would be the right play.
i really don't know what my plan would be if a bunch of blanks dropped. that's a tough spot. |

Re: Isolation 3-bet foiled!
A ragged board would be a tough spot. But it really matters what rags. T82 is alot better han 557.
How would I play those? I dunno. I'de flip a three sided coin. |

Re: Isolation 3-bet foiled!
I am probably raising anything MP2 bets if BB checks.
Any other circumstance, and it would really depend on the precise board and my read on Button and BB. |
