Default 10/25 at The Rio

Hero(6k) limps in late postion with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] after two limpers. Big blind(~11K) raises $300 straight. Rest of the table folds and I call. He is a very solid player- nothing too tricky or flashy about so I assume he has the goods. His only weakness is his inability to lay down overpairs and big suited aces. Earlier in the day I got him all in preflop with Kings versus Ace Jack suited but he flopped two aces .
Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pot(~$700)

Villian bets a weak $450. I call and raise $1000 more on top.

Villian quickly calls. Before the turn comes I tell myself that if Ace or King falls I am crushed.

Turn A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check,Check.

River:J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villian bets $3000. I fold.

I dont think there is anything you can do here. I dont know how he views you as a player but from your information all the hands he could have, have you crushed like you said. How fast did he call the flop re-raise?

You said you got him all-in with KK vs. AJ suited, how much was this for? I think he could have AQ here a good amount of time, if that is how he plays his high Ace hands. What is your image?

Did you consider pushing the flop since you know he can't laydown an overpair? That seems like the best line against this type of player.....

Feels like AQ to me as well. The only hands that seem reasonable are A-A and A-Q. You said he isn't tricky though...does that mean that he would typically reraise you on the flop with A-A?

I definitely considered this but when you flop a set you obviously want to get the most money out of it. I think a push for 5k more would have made him fold.
